Today's staff development was once again led by our teachers. Staff shared strategies and takeaways from the @AVID4College National Conference. Mrs. Younger and Mr. Arreola shared how to use the DLIQ strategy throughout the curriculum.

Student presentations at the school board meeting tonight. Students made bottle head reps of their explorer. Two students challenged the school board and admin to a competition for stacking cups, without using your hand. Congrats to Miss de la Rosa. Mrs. Lucas, and Mrs. Parsons.

Our BW 8th graders learned about the attack on Pearl Harbor through an Escape Room. Students worked in groups to decode a secret mission The codes required students to think differently to decipher or decode them. Each code revealed an interesting fact about Pearl Harbor.
